Pallidan Tub Refinishing
I just wanted to add to the many compliments your company has received - they are well-deserved! Aaron refinished my tub and the surrounding tile (which was a medium gray color) this past week and now it is all a bright, shiny white, better than I even envisioned! It's made such a huge difference in the whole upstairs bathroom remodel project in my home!
I wanted to let everyone know that it's a great service that you provide and Aaron's attention to detail and careful work is beyond excellent, not to mention the fact that he was such a pleasant guy to deal with. I also spoke several times with Kim, Aaron's mother, who runs the office, and she was super-friendly and a wonderful lady who gladly addressed my concerns before the project.
All in all, it was a very worthwhile project from start to finish and I look forward to years of being proud of my remodeled and refinished bathroom! Great job, Pallidan - thank you so very much!
I highly recommend Pallidan. Professional, personable, on time/early, excellent work, COVID-19 compliant. Discount for paying cash! I contacted Pallidan to reglaze an incredibly beat up 60-year-old cast iron tub. My tub went from being beat up and stained to pearly white. Here was my experience.
1. I left a voicemail because the line was busy. Kim called me back shortly (only 30-60 minutes later) Kim was incredibly energetic and very nice and polite, and she was knowledgeable about the whole process, ensuring my DIY bathroom project was in the correct state to have my tub reglazed. Kim also told me $20 off if paid in cash. Scheduled an appointment.
2. Rich was 20 minutes early for my appointment. Rich adhered to COVID-19 guidelines by wearing a mask and staying socially distant. Rich is funny, personable, polite and most importantly is *excellent* at his craft. Rich educated me on how to keep the value of my tub through maintenance (cleaners to use, cleaners to avoid, what type of caulk sealant is best for their finish) and explained in very explicit terns the terms of the 8 year warranty (stellar value). The warranty stays with the tub, so if I sold the house, the next owners would be able to use this warranty (so long as they did not violate the warranty).

Integrity. These guys have it and it was a pleasure to meet and correspond with them. In the back of my mind, I thought, “what if the cracks in my tub are too bad for repair and someone shows up, does a quick cover-up job, takes the money, but knows it will leak again in a short time?” Anyone with that questions in mind can be reassured that Rich would rather do the right thing than make a quick buck at the customer or potential customer’s expense. He did an assessment and explained options but was honest in saying that our tub needs replace and that the service he has to offer would not be appropriate for our particular job. He was kind, fair, honest and it is such a joy to find an approved workman in any field that is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about the people, relationships and long-term sustainability of a project they attend. Kim was also very kind, helpful and provided personalized information as we realized that the project would entail tearing out drywall and is much more extensive than originally anticipated. Though they were not able to make this repair due to the condition of the tub, I appreciate their honesty and the information they provided that will prove helpful as we tackle a bathroom remodel and replacement tub. We will keep them in mind for the future.

They did a great job repairing our 5 year old bathtub. We can’t tell it was done! I made the appointment two weeks out and like clockwork they arrived on time. I highly recommend.
